Lab Sales Specialist – KZN Territory (Durand based)

Responsibilities
  • Territory Ownership & Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving new business and optimizing existing relationships within the KZN diagnostic industry.
  • Relationship Architect: Build, nurture, and maintain strategic relationships with customers, key accounts, and KOLs to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Process Excellence: Execute the full sales cycle from proposals to tenders while ensuring ethical compliance and company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Liaise with Application Specialists and Product Managers to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Strategic Reporting & Market Intel: Provide accurate forecasts, monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs, updating the CRM daily.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience selling capital equipment or in a laboratory environment (ideally both).
  • Territory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the KZN clinical / diagnostics sales landscape.
  • Education: A BS / BA in science or business; biology, bacteriology, pre‑medical or medical fields are preferred.
  • IVD Market Mastery: Extensive understanding of the IVD market, competition, and selling processes.
  • Tech Savvy: Computer literate with Salesforce experience for daily reporting and pipeline management.
  • Career Ambition: Demonstrated potential to advance to management or KAM roles.
