Job Title: Sales Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Implement sales strategies as directed by senior management to achieve business objectives.
  2. Lead both internal and external sales activities, including client engagement and relationship management, to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  3. Maintain and manage the customer database to support sales initiatives and marketing efforts.
  4. Conduct market and customer research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align goals and strategies.
  6. Develop, manage, and maintain sales policies, sales content, and a centralized sales information repository.
  7. Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team to deliver professional, efficient, and customer-centric service.
  8. Organize and coordinate regular sales meetings and team updates.
  9. Drive monthly and annual sales planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
  10. Analyze sales data, monitor trends, and report on performance metrics to guide strategic decisions.
  11. Oversee sales administration processes such as quotations, invoicing, and follow-ups to ensure seamless operations.
  12. Support the creation and coordination of marketing materials and social media content for product promotion.
  13. Assign and oversee account managers and product managers to optimize client coverage and product success.
  14. Manage pricing strategies to remain competitive and profitable.
  15. Develop and enhance digital channels and social media platforms to attract and engage customers.
  16. Lead the launch of new products and conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A tertiary qualification is considered an advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
  • Experience in the engineering field, such as HVAC, ventilation, fans, or related applications, is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales, retail, or business development roles.
