Fresh Produce Farm provides 180 different lines to the market

An experienced FMCG Sales Manager, preferably with experience gained within the fresh produce sector.

Salary, depending on experience as required for this position, is R600k

The employees functions and duties will include the normal duties bestowed upon a Sales Manager not limited to only the duties set out hereinafter :

  • Checking daily orders for all customers, including small shops.
  • Checking customer cost prices to ensure accuracy.
  • Offering all customers extras every morning after daily stock taking.
  • Daily checking of market prices to ensure alignment with the correct price from Retailers.
  • Ensuring customer orders are based on the Farms Growing Programme (GP).
  • Ensuring handover of daily orders to the Production Manager.
  • Submission of daily shortfall to all retailers before 11h00.
  • Daily submission of delivery schedule for customers like Pick n Pay Delivery centre.
  • Assist Production in prioritizing customer base on daily short.
  • Reporting daily sales to the CEO
  • Checking total orders vs Sales.
  • Assisting packaging store with weekly orders.
  • Daily meetings with different buyers from different retailers.
  • Ensure market growth of 10% minimum per year.
  • Increase client portfolio of the farm.
  • Find solutions for selling in a most responsible manner for 2
  • Ensure you achieve your budget.
  • Negotiate maximum prices with Retailers and other Customers.
