Job description

To recruit, maintain, develop sales representatives and set targets within Cornerstone Regions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and implement sales plan at regional level
  2. Develop sales plan to attain set goals / targets
  3. Communicate the sales plan to sales teams
  4. Identify & agree on individual roles and responsibilities
  5. Recruit resources according to HR plan
  6. Plan for infrastructure requirements – vehicles, offices, furniture, policy books, etc.
  7. Participate in provincial budgeting process
  8. Implement & monitor company policies & procedures
  9. Manage sales staff performance monthly
  10. Evaluate progress against goals monthly
  11. Prepare monthly management report
  12. Monitor expenses against budget
  13. Track deviation, investigate reasons & recommend corrective action
  14. Assist with management of monitoring petty-cash requisitions
  15. Prepare management report on deviations
  16. Develop & sustain customer & stakeholder relations
  17. Intervene on customer queries & concerns
  18. Understand impact of stakeholder policies on regional business
  19. Deploy the correct interactions and processes
  20. Communication management
  21. Stakeholder analysis (who's who?)
  22. Knowledge of different markets
  23. Company themes / message
  24. Manage regional office, administration & client services
  25. Manage regional sales force – recruitment, selection, training & development, performance management, etc.
  26. Visits to districts / sites
  27. Ensure that branch offices project the required image of Cornerstone
  28. Oversee the regional administrative activities
  29. Liaise with provincial administration on training needs & support
  30. Assist with client services and oversee sales staff & offices
