Overview

Sales Executive Join to apply for the Sales Executive role at Klipboard. Klipboard provides specialist software, services and support to deliver fully integrated trading and business management solutions to companies in the distributive trade – wherever they are in the world. With a unique depth of knowledge and experience in ERP / SaaS solutions, Klipboard has a wide range of clients including wholesalers, distributors, merchants and retailers from small traders to multinational enterprises. Klipboard has offices in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, South Africa, Kenya and North America. Our mission is simple: to design and deliver high performance, integrated ERP solutions that enable our distributive trade customers to source effectively, stock efficiently, sell profitably and service competitively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote our suite of software solutions into the wholesale, manufacturing and distribution marketplace, with the aim to deliver new business sales against an agreed annual target.
  • Take a hands‑on approach with Klipboard software‑based solutions (including all layered applications) and provide initial demonstration capability.
  • Take responsibility for driving and delivering lead generation and marketing exercises for your market territory, using own effort and collaborating with the sales‑focused Marketing Department.
  • Lead the business discovery process and presentation of solutions.
  • Qualification of opportunities will be essential.
  • In time, provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Managing and maintaining the CRM system will be essential.
  • Attend and present at monthly sales meetings as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrable record of achieving new business targets.
  • Highest capability of qualification/assessment of opportunities throughout the sales process, supported by methodology and management.
  • Self‑starter.
  • Ability to deliver presentations in a professional and structured manner up to board level.
  • Comfortable with working in a team environment.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Strong B2B new‑business sales experience of ERP software.
  • Experience within the distribution marketplace.
Special Conditions
  • A valid driving licence and passport is essential as travel will be required as part of the role.
