Job Purpose
Inbound or outbound policy sales, based on leads and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate the customer relationship and meet various KPIs.
- Connect with the customer, conduct needs analysis and propose customer solutions.
- Customer Relationships Development – Make calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships or as a first point of contact.
- Customer Needs Clarification – Interview customers to clarify requirements, following a sales script, and collect detailed notes.
- Set clear objectives for each call; present standard materials; ask relevant questions to evaluate interest and identify further needs.
- Sell Customer Propositions – Identify suitable products or services, explain benefits, and invite purchase within company policies.
- Operational Compliance – Adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data – Enter contact information into CRM after each interaction to support retention and business development.
- Performance Management – Prioritise workflow to meet productivity and quality standards; use performance systems for improvement.
- Personal Capability Building – Stay updated on policies and regulations through online training and assessments.
- Sales Opportunities Creation – Identify potential customers through referrals and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Matric qualification.
- 2–3 years of telephonic sales experience (Essential).
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry (Advantageous).
