A the Solar Sales Consultant you will educate homeowners / businesses on solar benefits, assessing the energy needs, designs customized systems, prepares quotes / proposals, explains financing / incentives, and manages the sales process from lead to installation, requiring strong communication, sales, and analytical skills to meet targets and drive sustainable energy adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Management: Generate leads through various channels (inbound / outbound, door-to-door) and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Customer Consultation: Meet with clients (in-person / virtual) to understand energy usage, budget, and sustainability goals.
  • System Design & Proposal: Conduct site assessments, use software to design solar solutions, calculate ROI, and prepare detailed proposals and quotes.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Present solutions, explain benefits (cost savings, environmental impact), handle objections, and close deals.
  • Project Oversight: Coordinate with installation teams, manage customer expectations, and ensure a smooth transition to project completion.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on solar technology, local incentives, tax credits, and regulations.
