Sales Consultant (Free State / Northern Cape)

Position Overview :

The Sales Consultant is responsible for recruiting and converting new and established Specialist Practices to VeriClaim. They should continually strive to meet and exceed customer needs for new clients, as well as simultaneously effectively servicing existing Practices. The Sales Consultant’s key role is to sell the features and benefits of the VeriClaim system so as to guide them in choosing VeriClaim as their Practice Management system of choice, and in this way establishing new accounts.

The successful candidate should be a result driven, self-motivated, entrepreneurial business minded individual, who will work in the Free State and Northern Cape area, will engage primarily with Specialists, to boost the revenue growth, customer acquisition and profitability of VeriClaim, against set targets.

Reports to : Sales Manager

Prerequisites :

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience with a proven track record of achievement at Specialist level.
  • Understanding the Medical Specialist environment.
  • Business experience.
  • IT experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Generate leads and create a pipeline through referrals and cold calls.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing weekly reports.
  • Arranging demonstrations to a range of prospective clients, both face to face and virtually.
  • Working individually as if this was your own business, whilst at the same time being part of a team.
  • Manage the territory to ensure optimum outcomes. Effective sales process requires a strong project management focus.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Become the trusted advisor to the Practice.
