We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial clients throughout the Garden Route area. This role requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for sustainability.

Description
  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct site assessments and energy evaluations to determine client needs and suitable solar solutions.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and follow-ups using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with company goals.
Requirements
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) essential; tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Renewable Energy will be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in sales, Solar industry experience beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of solar systems (PV, inverters, batteries) and the ability to explain technical concepts to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
