An international financial services and compliance practice is seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Assistant to join their sales team on a 3-month, independent contract to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, independent contracting role with working hours from 07h00 to 16h00 Monday to Friday with flexibility around lunchtime.

This office-based, temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting day-to-day sales operations, engaging with customers, and keeping digital sales processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Respond to online customer questions via chat and email, provide product information, offer recommendations, and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Order & Transaction Management: Process online orders, handle payments, manage returns/refunds, and update sales records in POS/CRM systems.
  • Product & Content Support: Update product listings, manage online inventory, tag new merchandise, and assist in creating promotional content.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Inform customers about online promotions, assist with upselling/cross-selling, and help analyse sales reports to identify trends.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate customer records, manage schedules, and support other digital back-office functions.
  • Platform Management: Ensure the online store’s appearance and product data are accurate and up to date.
