The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering customer loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Promotion: Drive sales through promotional activities, cross-selling, up-selling initiatives, and exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Management: Execute operational tasks, including expense management, stock control, shrinkage reduction, general housekeeping, and administrative duties.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain store presentation and promotional standards aligned with the brand image.
  • Staff Motivation: Direct staff to achieve targets and performance goals, ensuring smooth operations in the Store Manager's absence.
  • Workforce Planning: Schedule staff according to labour policy and relevant labour models, ensuring adequate departmental coverage.
  • Customer Service: Implement customer‑centric initiatives, enhancing experiences, increasing loyalty, and achieving club card participation targets.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative responsibilities efficiently, submitting timely reports to HR.
