Introduction
A leading retailer within the FMCG sector, based in Centurion, is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries. The role involves providing general and administrative support to the Sales Team and assisting the Sales Director as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Pricing
- Create, update, and distribute price lists accurately according to specifications.
Deals
- Create and distribute deals with different factories.
- Update the Deal Register, Trade Focus, and Promotional Grid.
- Investigate Price Claims, EDI, and Rejections reports.
Reporting
- Compile monthly sales performance reports for customers.
- Compile product listings across regions on the Master Listing schedule.
- Build customized reports for the Sales Director as required.
- Assist with quarterly Board Sales Reports.
- Notify Company Brand Representatives of new store openings in their areas.
- Update sales figures daily, weekly, and monthly in company reports.
New Product Listing
- Prepare and distribute new product listings to clients.
- Share product knowledge with the Key Accounts Manager for trade purposes.
- Load all new company products onto the GS1 System of Standards.
- Assist Marketing with New Product Development (NPD).
Rebates
- Retrieve client figures from Qlikview and update the Master Provisions Report for the Group Financial Manager.
- Calculate rebates and advertising figures monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Help compile sales data for the Audit Report for the Group Financial Manager.
Administration
- Arrange travel for the Sales Team (flights, car rentals, accommodation, visas).
- Assist with vehicle inspections, log sheets, service bookings, and repairs.
- Provide general support to the Sales Team.
- Take meeting minutes.
- Process credit card expense claims for the Sales Director monthly.
- Manage the Sales Director's calendar.
Office Support
- Answer incoming calls and redirect as needed.
- Assist with organizing office events.
- Greet and direct guests, offer refreshments.
- Handle courier parcels and mail deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Hospitality
- Assist in event arrangements, including décor, food, and entertainment.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
- Certification in Marketing, Sales, or related field is advantageous.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Administrator or Support Agent.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with sales reports and records.
- Strong administrative recordkeeping skills.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Package & Remuneration
R 23,000 CTC per month.
