A leading training organization invites unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 in South Africa to apply for a 10-month learnership in forestry. This program provides both theoretical and practical training, leading to a General Education and Training Certificate in Forestry (NQF Level 1). Passion for outdoor work is essential, and a monthly stipend will be provided during the learnership.
SAFCOL invites unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 who are interested in pursuing a career in forestry to apply for a 10-month learnership program. Successful applicants will engage in a structured one-year Learnership Programme (NQF Level 1), which includes accredited theoretical and practical training.
Learners will be at the SAFCOL training centre (Platorand) in Sabie, Mpumalanga Province. A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the learnership.
Upon completion, learners will receive a nationally recognized qualification: General Education and Training Certificate in Forestry (NQF Level 1). This program will equip them with the knowledge and experience to enhance their employment prospects with forestry companies and contractors or to establish their own SMME.
