Rooms Preventative Maintenance Specialist Wanted

$17 to $19 per hour DOE

This position will require you to work a mix of swing (3pm-11pm) and overnight (11pm-7am) shifts**

About The Role

As a Rooms Preventative Maintenance Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the hotel remains in excellent condition throughout the day. From handling guest maintenance requests to performing routine inspections, your work will help guarantee a flawless experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver Outstanding Guest Service: Be ready with a warm attitude and quick solutions, helping guests with any maintenance needs during their stay.
  • Be a Jack-of-All-Trades: Conduct routine inspections and assist with preventative maintenance—whether it’s replacing light bulbs or patching up vinyl, you’ll keep things in top shape.
  • Monitor and Maintain Systems: Ensure essential systems (like HVAC, plumbing, and lighting) are functioning properly, and respond promptly to any issues that arise.
  • Take Care of the Pool: Perform regular pool checks and maintenance to ensure it’s sparkling and guest-ready.
  • Refurbish & Beautify: Touch up guest areas and fixtures—helping keep everything fresh, polished, and guest-ready.
  • Safety First: Conduct routine safety and security inspections of the property and respond to any maintenance-related emergencies.
  • Work as a Team: Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • Possible exposure to secondhand smoke and other environmental factors in and around the hotel.
