Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years semi‑skilled manual experience; A valid (Code EC) driving licence with professional drivers permit (PDP).

Competencies

Good understanding of the following: safety precautions whilst operating machinery and equipment; usage of small tools and equipment; operating of line marking machines (motorised and manual) as well as general construction related machines; interpretation of basic civil drawings pertaining to line marking and determination of quantities of goods and services. Skills needed include supervisory abilities, communication (verbal and written), ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, ability to work in a team, and self‑motivation.
