Role Overview

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading all restaurant operations at Royal Majestic Hotel, ensuring outstanding service delivery, exceptional food and beverage standards, and a consistently memorable dining experience. This role plays a key part in shaping the hotel's culinary identity, managing teams, driving service excellence, and supporting the commercial performance of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, quality presentation, and consistency.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff to uphold service and brand standards.
• Maintain high food and beverage quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, stock control, ordering, and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary teams on menu execution, service flow, and guest feedback.
• Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Support banqueting, private dining, and special events where required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong customer service and guest experience focus within a hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire teams.
• Proven experience in Food & Beverage operations, including service standards, menu execution, costing, and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability in staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations within the hospitality and food service industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
