Position: Requisitions Clerk

Quantum Insights is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Requisitions Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Requisitions Clerk you will be responsible for processing and tracking all purchase orders and requisitions for our company. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and track all purchase orders and requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders and requisitions including pricing delivery dates and any changes or updates
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all requisitions are properly authorized and within budget
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with purchase orders or requisitions working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute reports on purchasing activity and budget status to management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business supply chain management or a related field is an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with purchasing software
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and external vendors
  • Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes and procedures is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a team player
