Job Description – Sales Development Representative (SA)
We are seeking an SDR in South Africa to identify and qualify leads, engage potential clients, and support the sales team to drive revenue.
The role is remote or on-site depending on the company, with a focus on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting.
Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social channels, and other outreach methods.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit for our solutions.
Schedule discovery calls or product demos for Account Executives.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and opportunities in the CRM.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize messaging and targeting.
Meet or exceed monthly / quarterly KPIs (e.g., calls, emails, meetings, and opportunities).
1+ year of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role (BDC / SDR / inside sales).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in English; comfortable with outbound activities.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment or in a hybrid setup.
