The ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Agricultural Sciences and 3-5 years of experience in sales within commercial agriculture. Extensive travel within the region will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales within commercial agriculture.
• Experience in growing sales and influencing strategic shifts.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the area office and warehouse.
• Promote company products to farmers and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with distribution partners.
• Develop and implement area-specific sales and marketing strategies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Provide technical support to agents and farmers.

Skills

Sales and business development experience in commercial agriculture

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Hands-on experience in crop production and farm implements

Valid driver's license

Education

Tertiary qualification in Plant, Soil, or Agricultural Sciences

AVCASA and BASOS accreditation

Diploma or certificate in financial management or marketing
