Our client is in the forestry industry specifically as a leading supplier and service provider for mechanised harvesting and other forestry equipment in Southern Africa.

The company supplies maintains and provides support and training for a range of machinery including loggers harvesters and other related equipment.

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Executive with experience in the Industrial sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales within the designated region managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities.

As a vital member of our Sales & Marketing team you will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Role and Responsibilities :
  • Is responsible for the sale and promotion of products and services in the designated region (inclusive of Cross Border).
  • Improve market position and achieve financial growth.
  • Assist in defining strategic sales & promotional goals for the region
  • To prospect and actively seek out new clients by networking cold calling advertising social media and other means of generating interest from potential clients.
  • Identifying business opportunities negotiations and closing business deals whilst maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions within the region.
  • Work with the service marketing parts departments along with management to increase sales opportunities.
  • Help manage existing clients and ensure they are satisfied and positive.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and take heed to their requests and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints and / or objections
