About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, proactive, and well-organised Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our Cape Town office. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and colleagues, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

This is a dynamic role that combines front desk duties with a variety of administrative responsibilities. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in keeping things running efficiently, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Answering incoming calls, directing them to the right department, and taking messages when needed
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience
  • Managing boardroom bookings and preparing meeting spaces
  • Booking travel and accommodation for visiting staff and guests
  • Ordering office supplies, refreshments, and consumables
  • Coordinating with service providers, building management, and contractors
  • Assisting with internal events and staff communication
  • Supporting HR with onboarding tasks such as preparing induction packs and photographing new joiners
  • Handling couriers and deliveries
  • Ensuring the reception and office areas are clean, stocked, and hazard-free
Qualifications
  • Matric certificate and at least 6 months of reception or administrative experience
  • A professional, articulate telephone manner and a warm, approachable personality
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general PC use
  • A high level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to assist with a wide range of office and support tasks
