Job description
Overview

We invite applications from a dynamic and experienced financial executive to join our leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The successful applicant will manage financial resources and play a critical role in the strategic direction and execution of financial plans.

Professional Qualification/ registration

Chartered Accountant (CA) with SAICA registration.

Experience

Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a PFMA-governed environment and 10 years senior management/executive management experience.

Skills and Competencies

Strong skills in financial strategy, budgeting, planning, and reporting, demonstrated leadership in corporate governance, audit readiness, and compliance. Ability to lead multi-functional teams across Finance, SCM, Asset Management and ICT. Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills and strong understanding of supply chain legislation and risk management.

Key Attributes

High level of integrity, accountability, and ethical leadership. A strategic thinker who is collaborative, results-orientated and decisive. Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and maintain focus on strategic goals.

Remuneration

Evaluate 14 (TCOE: R 1436022 – R 1617 666 per annum) - The total cost of the remuneration package will be determined based on candidate’s qualifications and experience.
