Job description

We are seeking suitably qualified Regional Account Managers to oversee all branch functions within the Lewis Group.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of all branch activities and lead a profitable and sustainable business unit that contributes to the overall success of the organisation.

We require a tough-minded, target-driven individual who thrives on driving performance and can balance excellent customer service within a high-pressure Sales and Credit Control environment.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience running a store and exposure to managing profit and growth targets within the retail environment.

This role is responsible for communicating and driving daily operations of the branches and ensuring alignment with company goals. The role will drive all people-related issues, customer service, sales, stock, and credit management within the branches.

  • Branches: Wolmaransstad and three (3) Klerksdorp branches
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch employees to retain a stable, high-performing team.
  • Drive sales targets and manage operational efficiencies to maintain a healthy and profitable business.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by actively engaging with customers and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Manage and control financial targets within company norms while balancing business risk.
  • Maintain and improve customer service, sales performance, stock efficiencies, and credit risk management.
  • Minimise stock loss through strict compliance with security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure all administrative duties comply with company guidelines (NCA & FAIS).
  • Guide, manage, and verify branch operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory legislation.
  • People management, including training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
