Quantity Surveyor (Candidate or Newly Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor)

Job Introduction

We are seeking a driven and professional Quantity Surveyor with 3–6 years’ experience to join our client’s team. This role is suited for a Candidate QS or newly registered Professional QS who is capable of independently managing medium to large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be confident working directly with clients, able to represent the company in meetings, and capable of running projects with values of up to R250 million.

Key Requirements
  • 3–6 years’ practical Quantity Surveying experience
  • BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional QS
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Contract administration
    • Measurement and cost control
    • Project administration
  • Ability to run own projects up to R250m
  • Confident, professional communicator who can engage with clients and consultants
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Must have own reliable transport
