Job description

Summary of Responsibilities

• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses and obtain manager approval before work begins.
• Apply and maintain 5S principles in the laboratory.
• Stay updated on all Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Follow and promote company safety procedures; report and help investigate incidents and near misses.
• Perform accurate, timely tests according to approved procedures and communicate results.
• Verify and calibrate lab equipment as scheduled and report any issues.
• Follow approved test methods and sampling plans; issue non-conformance reports when needed.
• Verify production reworks and batch formulations.
• Upload Certificates of Analysis on time and support industrial testing and mixer inspections.
• Conduct QC testing for liquid and powder products, and ensure proper control of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Capture all results daily in the QC system and send quarterly samples to HQ.
• Store product samples for required retention periods.
• Monitor lab conditions (temperature, humidity) and assist during audits.
• Prepare samples, support monthly stock counts, and manage lab consumables.

Minimum Requirements

• Chemical Engineering/Analytical Chemistry/ Chemistry or any related Qualification
• At least 2 years’ QC experience.
