Responsibilities

• Maintain document control and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs)
• Oversee audits, supplier visits and verification testing
• Manage non-conformances and conduct root cause investigations
• Drive the implementation of core quality standards
• Implement and monitor prerequisite programmes (PRPs)
• Serve as pest control officer for the warehouse
• Manage the site’s quality management system
• Oversee hygiene services and standards within warehouse
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to quality
• Monitor and enforce FIFO (first-in, first-out) practices
• Conduct sensory evaluations as required

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in food science or related field
• Minimum of three years’ experience in quality assurance and manufacturing
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent planning, organisational and execution abilities
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively when required
• Strong interpersonal and employee relations skills
