Overview

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a skilled professional to join their team in Cape Town.

As the Project Manager you will play a crucial role in managing transmission-related projects from detailed design through construction commissioning and the defect liability period. You will support the transaction team in bringing projects to financial close and be accountable for overseeing the entire project life cycle ensuring all aspects of scope schedule cost quality and risk are meticulously managed.

Responsibilities

• Development and Transaction Phase: You'll help identify construction risks support budgeting and scheduling assist with due diligence and help with the procurement of EPC contractors.
• Execution Phase: You'll be accountable for managing all aspects of the project including the procurement of subcontractors on-site inspections cost control and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• BSc / BTech in Construction Studies or similar.
• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Transmission / Distribution environment.
• Strong contract management experience particularly with EPC contracts.
• Expertise in substations and high-voltage line projects.
• Experience in Africa is preferred.
• Registered as a Professional Construction Project Manager ()
