Purpose of the position:
Coordinate projects to develop, implement, and support comprehensive programs for Key Populations, focusing on prevention, treatment, and care. These initiatives include addressing human rights violations and providing psychosocial interventions for Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM).
The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role as a key member of the Project Management Team, overseeing the HIV Prevention Project. This position involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including the effective administration, organization, and coordination of all project activities. The Project Coordinator ensures that the project's objectives—such as reducing HIV transmission rates and increasing community awareness—are met efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, the Project Coordinator is tasked with maintaining clear communication among team members, stakeholders, and community partners. This includes organizing regular meetings, monitoring progress against project goals, and implementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track. By ensuring that all operational processes are streamlined, the Project Coordinator significantly contributes to creating a structured environment in which the project can thrive and respond dynamically to challenges. Their leadership is essential in fostering collaboration and driving the project towards its successful completion.
