Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Professional Quantity Surveyor (Pr. QS) located in Western Cape, South Africa.

The Professional Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing costs, planning costs, and reporting on costs for construction projects.

The candidate will be engaged in project phases to ensure precision, quality, compliance, efficiency, and successful project delivery.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying.
• Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (Pr.QS) with SACQSP is essential.
• Minimum of 5–8 years' experience in quantity surveying within the built environment sector.
• Strong understanding of JBCC, NEC, and FIDIC contract forms.
• Proficient in MS Excel, WinQS or similar estimating software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary project team.
