Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

• SANC Registered Degree or Diploma in Nursing / Midwifery qualification and/or postgraduate certificate / diploma in a relevant specialty advantageous
• At least 1-year post‑graduate experience in a specialised unit
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control, pharmacology, and scientific nursing principles
• Competency in nursing record keeping, patient assessment, and developing / modifying nursing care plans
• Familiarity with nursing legislation and clinical procedures
• Basic life support certification; ACLS, ATLS, or PALS for specialised wards advantageous
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Ability to identify risks and contribute to quality care initiatives
