Product Manager - Point of Sales

Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality technical documentation, paying attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience (usually 5+ years) working in the financial technology (fintech) industry, banking, investment management, financial services, and/or hardware experience.
  • Proven track record (3+ years) in presales or sales engineering roles within the fintech sector, demonstrating expertise in presenting technical solutions to clients.
  • In-depth understanding of fintech products, services, and solutions, including banking software, payment systems, trading platforms, risk management tools, or other relevant technologies.
  • Experience in sales and support of payment hardware products.
  • Experience in consultative selling approaches, including needs assessment, solution design, proposal development, and value proposition articulation.

Technical Skills
  • In-depth understanding of the payment solutions offered by The Company, including hardware, software, and services.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong capability to design customized solutions tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of clients, leveraging The Companys products and services.
  • Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including proposals, solution architectures, technical specifications, and other sales collateral.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards (such as PCI DSS), and industry best practices in payment solutions.
Industry Skills & Knowledge
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, achieve revenue growth, and contribute to the overall business objectives of the fintech organization.
  • Awareness of market trends, competitor analysis, and regulatory frameworks within the fintech industry to inform strategic decision-making and solution positioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the fintech sector, such as data privacy laws, financial regulations, and security standards.
  • Financial acumen ability to compile pricing and work out margins.
