Overview

The Coal Process Manager oversees the entire coal processing operation — from raw coal handling through washing, crushing, screening, blending, and quality control — to ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant production.

The role focuses on optimizing plant performance, improving recovery rates, maintaining equipment reliability, and achieving production and quality targets.

Key Performance Indicators

• Plant recovery and yield rates
• Downtime reduction
• Safety performance metrics
• Cost per ton of processed coal

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coal processing operation from raw coal handling through washing, crushing, screening, blending, and quality control to ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant production.
• Focus on optimizing plant performance, improving recovery rates, maintaining equipment reliability, and achieving production and quality targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mining Engineering.
• 7–15 years of experience in coal processing, beneficiation, or mineral plant management.
• Strong knowledge of coal washing, dense medium separation (DMS), flotation, and screening processes.
• Familiarity with process control systems (e.g., SCADA, PLC) and plant optimization tools.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
