About the job Platform Owner - Enterprise Integration Architect

Key purpose:

You will be part of a small, agile team that designs and implements new platform features. You'll also help maintain our existing platform and infrastructure, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your role is to make sure we have the right tooling in place for us to deliver high quality software solutions quickly and efficiently. You'll work closely with other members of the product teams as well as internal developers in order to ensure all platforms are running at their best possible level.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree / Diploma in Technology / Information Management
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies
  • Exposure to complex change environment and experience in project integration
  • Exposure to the IT project and programme management, IT lifecycle, and ITIL processes
  • 8 years relevant experience of which 5 years of management experience in a software development background
  • Technical expertise in developing solutions and integrations using webMethods, Integration Server, Terracotta, Mediator, and Managed File Transfer
  • Experience with managing APIs and API policies using webMethods, Centrasite and API Gateway, installing and configuring webMethods software, virtualizing services or APIs, setting up batch configuration
  • Proficiency in utilizing design patterns, deployment procedures, and webMethods Business Rule
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, schema design, orchestration, data mapping, and handling exceptions in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) systems
  • Deep technical expertise and a good understanding of the underlying business processes and systems
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Experience working with multiple third-party vendors
  • Experience in advocate development practices like test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
  • Experience in working on several successful projects in the web and mobile environment. Previous exposure to full life cycle systems development
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies
