Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a Pharmacy Sales Representative based in Nelspruit. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing relationships with key customers, and identifying market opportunities. Candidates should have a Matric and preferably a tertiary qualification in Commerce or Science, along with at least two years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license are required. This position offers the chance to excel in a dynamic industry.

Qualifications

  • Matric/Grade 12 required, tertiary qualification in Commerce or Science advantageous.
  • At least 2 years experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
  • Knowledge and experience in Independent Pharmacy preferred.
  • Proven record in Self-medication and FMCG markets.
  • Computer literacy required, proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle needed.

Key Job Outputs:

  • The Professional Sales Representative needs to constantly achieve individual regional and divisional sales targets
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Customers
  • To identify opportunities in the market for new products and new growth areas for the business
  • Successfully implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Analysis of regional sales, competitor and market share data, then help develop strategies and action plans to maximise sales potential in the respective area
  • To respond adequately and professionally to customer complaints and queries
