Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Johannesburg is seeking a dedicated HR professional to manage recruitment processes, payroll reports, and enhance employee engagement through successful onboarding and HR events. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in HR or Psychology and possess strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Liaise with recruitment agencies to source and screen CVs.
  • Submit monthly payroll reports accurately and timeously.
  • Plan and execute onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Assist in planning HR events.
  • Support managers with disciplinary queries.
  • Coordinate factory training.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Recruitment : Liaise with recruitment agencies to source and screen CVs for operational vacancies.
  • Payroll : Consolidate and submit monthly payroll reports (leave & overtime) accurately & timeously to the payroll department.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding : Plan, coordinate and execute the onboarding & offboarding of employees.
  • HR Events : Assist in the planning and execution of all events e.g. wellness week, company functions, team engagement sessions, etc.
  • IR / ER : Assist managers with drafting and issuing disciplinary warnings and assist with disciplinary enquiries as needed.
  • Training : Coordinate and arrange all factory training.

Maintain and upkeep all training records and reports for relevant submissions.

  • EHS : Collaborate with EHS Officer to ensure all employees adhere to the EHS standards.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in HR / Psychology from a leading university and experience in a HR Generalist / HRBP role in a similar environment.
  • An ability to solve problems and maintaining confidentiality & integrity are non-negotiable attributes for this role.
