About the Role
A fast-growing business funding and credit repair company is looking for a Social Media & Content Assistant who can own the day-to-day execution of content, lead follow-up, and appointment setting across multiple social platforms. The client already works with marketing consultants; your role is to implement, organize, and execute – turning traffic and leads into booked calls and consistently published content.
This role starts part-time (20 hrs/week) with a clear path to full-time as results grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management & Posting
- Manage daily activity on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Substack
- Implement and maintain a posting schedule using Metricool (or similar scheduling tools the client already pays for)
- Take existing content/assets from the client and ensure they are properly formatted, captioned, and posted on time
- Coordinate repurposing of content across platforms where appropriate
- Lead Management & Appointment Setting
- Monitor DMs, comments, and inbound messages (Instagram + LinkedIn) for new leads
- Qualify leads based on simple guidelines from the client
- Book appointments directly into the client’s calendar via GoHighLevel or related booking tools
- Follow up with warm leads from Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels to convert them into scheduled calls
- Keep basic notes on lead status inside the CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
- Video Editing & YouTube Management
- Take long‑form video content (already recorded by the client) and edit for clarity and flow
- Add captions, simple graphics, and basic transitions
- Create and upload thumbnails that are on‑brand and attention‑grabbing
- Upload and schedule videos to YouTube (and potentially repurpose snippets for other platforms as appropriate)
- Ensure titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails are optimized for visibility and clicks
- Substack & Long‑Form Content Support
- Assist with Substack: formatting posts, uploading content, and scheduling newsletters
- Take client‑provided copy or outlines and format them into clean, readable posts
- Add links, images, or CTAs as needed
- Make sure Substack content aligns with ongoing campaigns and social content themes
Tools & Platforms
- Must be comfortable with:
- Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube (posting, DMs, basic analytics)
- GoHighLevel (CRM, calendar/appointments, pipeline updates)
- Social media scheduling tools (client currently uses Metricool)
- Basic design/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar – tool is flexible as long as results are solid)
Must‑Haves
- 3–4+ years experience in social media management and/or content coordination
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Managing social media for a coach, online service provider, or B2B/B2C service brand
- Booking calls/appointments from social media leads
- Editing long‑form video into polished uploads (with captions & thumbnails)
- Strong written English and ability to match/learn the client’s tone
- Highly organized, able to juggle multiple platforms and deadlines
- Comfortable working Eastern Time (ET) and being responsive during agreed hours
- Proactive: can see where leads/content are stuck and move things forward without constant supervision
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Experience in business funding, credit repair, financial services, or coaching/consulting
- Familiarity with lead nurturing workflows in GoHighLevel
- Experience managing Substack or other newsletter/blog platforms
- Basic understanding of analytics (which posts/lead sources are performing best)
