Outbound Sales Development Representative

Salary: R40 000.00 – R 80 000.00 (including commission)

Location: Sandton (Hybrid: One remote day per week)

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

About the Role

As a Outbound Sales Development Representative, your mission is to research and pre-qualify potential customers, generate excitement and interest, and pass high-quality leads on to our expert Sales Executives. Your efforts via phone and email outreach will directly influence the growth engine of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the SME market, their challenges, and funding needs.
  • Master the company’s financial product offerings and how they meet business needs.
  • Research leads and update the CRM system with relevant insights.
  • Build rapport with prospects using research and intelligent questioning.
  • Engage prospects through effective outbound calls (minimum of 80 per day).
  • Ensure leads meet qualification criteria and pre-approve funding levels.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene—update data, manage pipelines, and close off leads accurately.
  • Collaborate with senior funding specialists to refine strategy and execution.
