Job description
We are hiring: Group Organisational Psychologist

This is not a box-ticking role. It is a stewardship role.

We are seeking a Group Organisational (I/O) Psychologist to lead and govern psychometric assessment practices across our client, ensuring scientific rigour, ethical compliance, and clear strategic linkage to talent and leadership decisions.

This role sits at the intersection of psychology, strategy, and leadership impact.

You will own the Group’s psychometric framework end-to-end, setting standards, guiding application, and ensuring assessments genuinely inform hiring, development, succession, and performance decisions. You will also drive the Group Career Development framework, enabling leaders and employees to understand strengths, growth pathways, and career mobility across the organisation.

In short: this role shapes how talent is understood, developed, and trusted at scale.

Key focus areas
  • Governance and leadership of psychometric assessments across the Group
  • Ensuring scientific validity, ethical practice, and HPSCA compliance
  • Translating assessment insights into practical talent, leadership, and succession decisions
  • Driving the Group Career Development framework and career pathway clarity
  • Supporting leadership pipeline development and organisational capability building
  • Contributing to a culture of growth, excellence, and integrity
You will bring
  • Master’s degree in Industrial / Organisational Psychology (MComm or MA)
  • Registration with the HPSCA as an I/O Psychologist (Independent Practice)
  • Strong applied experience in psychometrics, talent assessment, and leadership development
  • The confidence to challenge poor practice and the credibility to influence senior leaders
  • A balance of academic discipline and commercial pragmatism

This role is ideal for an (I/O) psychologist who wants real organisational impact, not theoretical relevance.

If you believe (I/O) psychology should drive better decisions, not just better reports, we want to hear from you.
