Overview
Our client is looking for a professional to support and contribute to the successful delivery of organisational restructuring and design projects by applying deep expertise in organisational effectiveness, design principles, and change enablement. The role requires strong collaboration with the team lead and stakeholders to diagnose, design, and implement future-fit organisational models that enable strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Organisational Design & Restructuring – Conduct organisational assessments and contribute to structure redesigns aligned to business strategy. Support the development of operating models, job architectures, and capability frameworks. Participate in scenario planning and workforce transition strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Engage business leaders and HR partners to understand requirements and gather data. Facilitate and document workshops, interviews, and focus group discussions.
- Project Support – Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations. Support the development and tracking of implementation roadmaps and milestones.
- Research & Best Practice – Apply and share best practices in organisational design, people planning, and talent alignment. Stay up to date on changes in legislation, workforce trends, and design models.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Minimum NQF Level 7 qualification in Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Business Management, Human Resources, Leadership Development, Strategy or a related field.
- Professional Membership (Mandatory): Valid registration or certification with a recognised South African professional body such as SABPP, HPCSA, IMCSA, or equivalent recognised body.
Experience
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in organisational restructuring and design projects, HR strategy, talent and workforce planning, and supporting complex change or transformation initiatives.
