Job description
Overview

To operate cutting machines and produce high quality banknotes in accordance with customer specifications and aligned to the South African Bank Note Company (SABN) standards.

Responsibilities
  • C cutting & packing products as per set performance targets and in full compliance with quality specifications
  • Perform denomination settings, quality checks through measuring of notes against set specifications.
  • Ensure that machines are operated according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Minimise wastage in every activity within set targets.
  • Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as per the schedule, and report any defective performance to the Section Head
  • Operate the machine in adherence to SHE regulations and legislation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that machines are counting accurately under dual control.
  • Report any balancing issues to the Section Head immediately.
  • Ensure correct entry of data into DCLink
