Job summary

A leading fashion firm located in South Africa is seeking an Occasionwear Designer to create designs from concept to development for Ladies embellished and embroidered products. A highly successful Fashion Company are looking to recruit an Occasionwear Designer, working across Ladies embellished and embroidered product.

The Occasionwear Designer must have previous experience working on this product area, with a keen eye for trends and excellent attention to detail.

The Occasionwear Designer will be responsible for creating designs from concept right through to development.

  • Work closely with freelance designer
  • Carrying out extensive trend research, setting the creative direction of ranges and creating mood boards and trend packs
  • Liaising closely with factories overseas
  • Sourcing fabrics and trims
  • Attending design meetings and presenting ranges
Additional Information

The Occasionwear Designer will have previous experience in a similar role with strong pattern making and garment construction knowledge, and be proficient in CAD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
