Main Purpose

Management of stock
- Accountable relevant stock in their workstation.
- Ensure that the restaurant and area is well stocked
- Opening shift – truck delivery & FIFO in store along with senior team
- Restocks napkins, straws, lids, and other supplies in the dining area.
- Inventories supplies and goods with supervising manager, when necessary.
Processes till transactions effectively
- Records customer orders on an electronic POS system.
- Keeps track of a cash drawer and ensures it is balanced at the end of the shift.
- Takes money from customers and provides correct change.
- Processes credit card and debit card transactions
- Tallies orders served and amount of cash received.
Management of orders
- Transfers orders to the kitchen to ensure their preparation.
- Monitors orders and ensures their prompt delivery.
- Helps package food in boxes and bags.
- Helps cook food and otherwise works in the kitchen, when necessary.
- Applies selling skills
- Up-sells in-store promotions
- Processes Aggregator orders on their relevant platform.
Preparation and serving of products
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan, and speciality beverages.
- Preparation of various artisanal hot and cold beverage items based on prescribed recipes and techniques in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for producing signature hot and cold beverage

Job Requirements
- Preferably grade 12
- Minimum 1 year Cashier experience is required for this position
- Is solidly numerate.
- Can follow directions and achieve goals.
- Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Is able to communicate effectively to a variety of clientele.
Additional Criteria
- Existing Cashier/Barista experience is essential
- Able and flexible to work different shifts - 6-day flexi shift roster which may be changed to suit the needs of the operation.
- Weekends, evenings and Public Holiday workdays and times is mandatory.
