Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and secure new business within the courier, express and logistics market
  • Cold calling, prospecting, networking and lead generation
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals and tenders
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
  • 2–5+ years’ new business sales experience within express, courier, road freight or logistics
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting ability
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills
  • Self-motivated, driven and performance-orientated
