A leading insurance company in Johannesburg is seeking a Motor Wreck Assessor to evaluate and settle motor claims. The role involves investigating claims, negotiating with clients and service providers, and ensuring compliance with contract conditions. Candidates should possess at least three years of experience in motor assessing and qualifications in Mechanical studies. Strong negotiation and conflict handling skills are essential. This position is located at the Parktown office and offers growth opportunities in an evolving insurance environment.
A position has become available for a Motor Wreck Assessor and will be based in the Motor Claims department at the Parktown office
The purpose of this position is to determine the quantum and merit of segmented motor claims by performing investigations, verifying the description of the event with the loss, negotiating with (client, intermediary, and service providers) and settlement of claims within a delegated threshold and according to contract conditions.
