Job Summary

The Mine Technical Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Spares and Services Department, encompassing costing, quoting, and processing of customer spare part requirements. This involves expediting sales orders, monitoring collections and deliveries, and devising strategies to minimize downtime for clients through rapid spare part deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of the Spares and Services Department.
  • Cost estimation, pricing, and fulfillment of customer spare part demands; equipment refurbishment needs, and field service obligations.
  • Sales order acceleration.
  • Monitor inventory levels and shipping schedules.
  • Develop proactive measures to reduce client downtime via prompt spare part supply.
  • Supervise a team of technical and commercial specialists, comprising 6 members.
  • Provide support and assistance to Sales Engineers, consisting of 5 members.
  • Manage Field Services teams.
  • Negotiate, implement, and maintain customer supply agreements.
  • Equipment maintenance planning and lifecycle cost management.
