Job summary

A leading human resources consultancy in South Africa is seeking a skilled Artisan with a strong background in equipment maintenance and repairs. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment availability for optimal production targets. Minimum requirements include Grade 12 and N3-N6 or equivalent technical qualifications, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of fluid mechanics and construction processes will be advantageous. This role offers competitive monthly remuneration.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience as Artisan, preferably in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment inspection, fault finding, and diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery.
• Handle assembly and dismantling of critical machinery components.
