Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Mid to Senior IT Managed Services Salesperson to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development and managing existing accounts on a national level. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of IT managed services and cyber security solutions, excellent sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT managed services and cyber security markets.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
    • Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Understand clients business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their IT and cyber security requirements.
    • Conduct regular account reviews and proactively address any issues or concerns.
    • Upsell and cross-sell additional services to maximize account value.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales goals.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
    • Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
