Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems.
• Conduct site visits and client needs analyses.

• Perform heat load calculations and system proposals.
• Specify mechanical systems per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes.
• Liaise with OEMs and suppliers.
• Develop ducting layouts and equipment selections.
• Support Fire Protection and Detection system designs.
• Assist in compiling Rational Fire Design documentation.
• Review and coordinate engineering drawings.
• Draft engineering reports throughout project phases.
• Compile tender documents, technical specifications, and budget estimates.
• Conduct peer reviews in line with ISO 9001.
• Participate in construction monitoring and site supervision.
• Oversee design and project delivery.
• Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Maintain documentation per quality management protocols.
• Attend project meetings and conduct site inspections.
• Handle administrative tasks related to projects.
• Work independently on mechanical designs.

Position Info

POSITION INFO : The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of building services projects, working closely with other disciplines to develop innovative, compliant, and cost-effective mechanical systems. A strong technical foundation, combined with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple project stages, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
• Conduct site visits and client needs analyses
• Prepare technical reports on maintenance, repairs, and existing system assessments
• Perform heat load calculations and system concept proposals
• Specify mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards
• Liaise with OEMs and suppliers for sourcing and system integration
• Develop ducting layouts and equipment selections
• Support Fire Protection and Detection system designs
• Assist in compiling Rational Fire Design documentation
• Contribute to wet services designs, including water system hydraulic calculations
• Review and coordinate engineering drawings with drafting teams
• Draft engineering reports throughout project phases
• Compile tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and budget estimates
• Conduct peer reviews in line with ISO 9001 quality standards
• Participate in construction monitoring and on-site supervision
• Oversee elements of design and project delivery within budget and timelines
• Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and with clients
• Maintain documentation as per internal quality management protocols
• Attend project meetings and conduct site inspections
• Handle administrative tasks related to project and team functions

Requirements

Experience

• 3 to 5 years in mechanical engineering within a consulting or construction environment

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering

• Valid Code B driver’s license
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and / or Revit
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
