WAXIT is a wax bar franchise dedicated solely to smooth skin. A refuge of removal, a haven of hairlessness, a sanctuary of smooth. It is a place where men and women can wax it expertly and discreetly, free from the intrusions that come with visiting full-service salons. Celebrating our 9th birthday next month with 24 stores operating countrywide and two more opening in July and August, we are the masters of sleek and silky with a focus on AVAILABILITY, QUALITY, COST, HYGIENE and PRIVACY.

As part of our vibrant and energetic team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategies and driving our brand forward.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contribute to marketing campaigns and strategies
2. Assist marketing team with new store launches and special projects
3. Support the Head of Marketing with daily tasks and coordination
4. Manage website updates and ensure content is current and engaging
5. Schedule and publish content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok) and monitor performance
6. Compile presentations and monthly digital stats for franchisees
7. Coordinate marketing requests from franchisees and liaise with design teams
8. Obtain quotes from advertisers, printers, and promotional houses; coordinate design and production
9. Assist with promotional items and brand events
10. Copywriting and proofreading of marketing materials
11. Manage Influencer relationships and campaigns
12. Ensure all content is inclusive, on-brand and consistent

Skills and Qualifications

1. Sales and/or Marketing tertiary qualification preferred
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
3. Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, online analytics, Google Ads, Canva, Meta and similar
4. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
7. Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities
8. Project management experience is a plus
9. Valid driver's license
10. Own transport preferred

Task

We are planning a social media campaign to promote a limited-time offer on our best-selling product. Draft a social media post (not more than words) for Facebook, emphasising the urgency and benefits of this offer. Include a call to action and any hashtags you would use.
