Marketing Assistant - Cape Town

Direct Reporting Line: Head: Student Recruitment (Distance)

The IIE Varsity College, Online Centre based in Cape Town, has a vacancy for a Marketing Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Marketing Administration
  • Accurate capturing of prospective student information, appointment forms, and applications onto STASY and all applicable reports.
  • Capturing all leads into the relevant campaigns (interest cards, online applications, online enquiries, walk-ins).
  • Working cooperatively with the Head: Student Recruitment regarding all database statistics for marketing reports, including presentation trackers and sales reports.
  • Managing all marketing stock and promotional materials.
  • Ensuring interview rooms are stocked with appropriate marketing collateral.
  • Assisting Student Advisors with database administration and related correspondence.
  • Maintaining the integrity of data across all systems related to prospective students and applicants.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Analyst to ensure reports are accurate and all information is correctly captured.
  • General Activities
    • Providing support for planning events such as open days and career fairs.
    • Supporting the student recruitment team during peak periods through database calling and contacting interviewees and applicants as required by the Head: Student Recruitment.
    • Performing any ad hoc duties assigned by the Head: Student Recruitment.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level)
